How to use Holy Anointing Oil
Anointing oil is used in the Bible to set apart people or things for consecration unto God. It has been used to cast out demons, for healing, as a symbol of joy, and even protection! This oil in itself is not powerful, but it is used to symbolize God and His power. This oil has been consecrated and prayed over.
Ways to use anointing oil:
- Anoint yourself and others (when praying for healing, for consecration, for deliverance, or simply asking God to protect you) (Mark 6:13)
- Anoint your home. You may go around your house to anoint doors, windows, rooms, and thresholds, asking God to bless your home and cleanse the atmosphere in Jesus name.
- Anoint objects like tools, or other items to consecrate them and ask God to bless them for their intended purpose.
Anointing yourself, or someone else (whatever reason you use anointing oil for) should always be accompanied by prayer and faith! God bless and enjoy!
